Join The Ohio State University College of Social Work for a free webinar focusing on introducing participants to basics concepts within the American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM) guidelines. This training will introduce participants to the 6 dimensions of the ASAM criteria. The training will cover the importance and benefits of placing patients into the most appropriate level of treatment. Lastly, the training will introduce participants to basics concepts of medically supervised withdrawal management.
- Identify ASAM dimensions and concepts related to patient functioning
- Describe the purpose of placing patients into the most appropriate ASAM level of care
- Define basic concepts of the application of withdrawal management across inpatient and outpatient settings
